Under the LA sun….such a great lifestyle …

We have had a two lovely days in the sun in Los Angeles. We consider ourselves very lucky to be able to stay with our dear friends Roger and Frances.  Our days usually begin with a walk on the strand along Manhattan Beach and we really look forward to that. It must be brilliant to walk day after day without getting wet and cold! The flowers and plants that grow along the promenade always fill me with joy. The sun does that too – being warm to my bones is one of my biggest joys and I have been making the most of it. What follows is really a photo essay of what it is like to live under these incessantly sunny skies….

Because we prefer to travel in August/September, we are often here in October and we see some wonderful Halloween decorations…

This weekend the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair was also on – well attended, it provided another colourful experience for us after we completed our walk.

As I write this it is just a couple of hours before we leave for the airport.  We have had a great couple of days here, but now it is time to return home to family. Our next trip will probably be August/September 2020 so the blog will be asleep for a while…
